Our Sustainability Action Week program
Sustainable action and democratic participation – two topics that are inextricably linked. At this year's Sustainability Action Weeks, we are focusing on exactly this connection. A diverse program awaits you in our libraries from September 17th to October 8th. Among others, we welcome the renowned science journalist Dr. Manuela Lenzen for a lecture. She has been concerned with the effects of the development of artificial intelligence on people and society for many years. Further highlights include a workshop by the “Digital Impact Lab” on the topic of “Democracy, media publics and AI” as well as a workshop on politicization through TikTok.
Children can have a say in the BilderBuchKino during the action days or get creative in numerous upcycling workshops. The library in Vegesack invites you to Green Saturday on October 5th with a food sharing picnic, clean-up and clothing exchange for Halloween costumes. In Huchting, toys and children's clothing can be exchanged during the opening hours during the action days.
