For World Book Day: craft workshop for families

Description

On the occasion of World Book Day - Sant Jordi - the Instituto Cervantes invites you to take part in an original workshop in which they will make various crafts based on the legend of a medieval knight who gave his name to a popular festival in Catalonia dedicated to books and roses has given. Workshop participants will learn how to make roses, dragons and princesses using cardboard, vinyl glue, crepe paper and acrylic paints, and at the end of the workshop they and their companions can also take home a real rose.

Bárbara Palavecino is a trained primary school teacher and has studied fine arts. She also teaches Spanish to children at various institutions, including the Cervantes Institute in Bremen.
