"JelGi – Everyone learns guitar"

Description

Yvonne Widemann will be bringing a "JelGi" workshop to the Vegesack library in May. The "Everyone Learns Guitar" (JelGi) method, developed by Udo Zilkens, makes it possible to easily accompany old and modern children's songs by Rolf Zuckowski and others, folk songs, popular songs, and musicals on the guitar in just a few hours and without any prior knowledge.

The guitar strings are tuned to C major, so only one chord needs to be learned with the left hand. There are many strumming techniques for the right hand. The book also includes tips for making music with guitars, Boomwhackers, and Orff instruments using JelGi (a traditional Japanese musical method) with children from the age of 2, seniors, and people with disabilities.

Please register here!

Please bring a guitar and a footstool approximately 20 cm high, and if possible, a music stand.
