A man plays the guitar

»JelGi – Everyone learns guitar«

Description

Yvonne Widemann is coming to the Wall Hall of the Central Library with a new workshop in April. The method “Everyone learns guitar” (= JelGi) developed by Udo Zilkens makes it possible to play old and modern children's songs by Rolf Zuckowski, etc., folk songs, popular songs and songs or musicals with just a few hours and without any prior knowledge with the guitar to accompany.

The strings of the guitar are tuned to C major, so that only one fingering needs to be learned with the left hand. There are many types of touches for the right hand. There are also tips for making JelGi music with guitars, boomwhackers and Orff instruments with children aged 2 and over, seniors and people with disabilities.

Afterwards, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the opportunity to deepen the newly acquired knowledge.

Please register here!

Please bring a guitar and a footstool approx. 20 cm high, and if possible also a music stand.
