Here we go again: May 11, 2024 is finally Free Kids Comic Day ! And this time the day has a very special motto: free children's comics for everyone!
By the deadline on February 4th, over 900 comic and book stores, libraries and libraries in Germany, Austria and Switzerland have registered (GRINS ♡ !), which will throw the doors wide open and appeal to many young, old, Comic fans big and small are happy!
The participating comic publishers are now producing comic books especially for this day, which are available free of charge in participating stores.
A colorful selection of 21 comics - from superheroes, Franco-Belgian adventures, to well-known characters from the Disney universe to completely new independent comic characters - awaits you. And even though the focus this time is on children's comics, young and young-at-heart readers can of course also get their hands on the free comics.
There will be an open drawing workshop with Sarah Yilma in the Central Library from 10-11:30 a.m.
So, put it on your calendar: May 11th is Comic Book Day again!
