“The common thread for retirement” – information stand about the AWO project in the central library

Description

Those who are transitioning from working life to retirement often face many changes. New possibilities are opening up - but at the same time many questions arise. A new offer from AWO Bremen offers answers and orientation: “The common thread for retirement”.

In addition to information, the current program is also available at the information stand and registrations for events or consultation appointments can be accepted.

The project provides orientation for the post-professional phase of life. In addition to an introductory overview lecture that encourages you to think about how to plan your own retirement, you can choose from various events with information and practical tips on cultural participation, social security and municipal offers. If you have any individual questions, you can discuss them during a consultation. If you are interested, the project team supports the networking of the participants.

More information can be found here

The project “The Red Thread for Retirement” is carried out as part of the program “Strengthening the participation of older people – against loneliness and social isolation” by the Federal Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus ( ESF Plus).
