The focus of the Stadtbibliothek Bremen 's “Sustainability Action Week” this year is on the topic of “Democracy”.
In this context, the “Digital Impact Lab” in the Vegesack district library offers a two-hour, interactive workshop on the topic of “Democracy, media publics and AI”. The workshop is based on the question of what constitutes a democratic society and what the foundations of a democracy are, and questions what role media play in a democracy, how they influence opinion formation and political decision-making processes. You can use ChatGPT as an example to communicate and learn how to recognize manipulated and AI-generated images.
The Digital Impact Labs are funded by the Senatorial Offices of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and with funds from the European Social Fund Plus.
