The focus of the Stadtbibliothek Bremen 's “Sustainability Action Week” this year is on the topic of “Democracy”.
Every four years the animals elect their king. The lion loves elections because everyone always votes for him. “You need an opposing candidate, otherwise an election makes no sense!” says the mouse. This is how the election campaign happens. The children then design their own election posters with their campaign motto. What would I like to change about my city, what do I want for Bremen and why should I become mayor? We ask ourselves all these questions and talk about how important it is to have a say.
