»My father – memories of the future«
Description
As part of the commemoration of the victims of National Socialism, three Bremen-Nord authors read from their works in the Vegesack district library. Jürgen Borchert, Eva Hütter and Heide Marie Voigt belong to the generation of war and post-war children. Like many others, they grew up with the silence of those who took part – out of conviction or under duress – and with the resolution: “Never again war!” With their reading, they examine their own memories: What is worth passing on?
