Since 1900, the members of the Friends of the Stadtbibliothek Bremen association have supported us both ideologically and materially. Thanks in no small part to this voluntary commitment, we are now able to make over 500,000 media items easily accessible and engaging for around 1.2 million visitors per year, and to offer books, information, and events for all ages in our libraries.
The guiding principle of the association is a collaborative partnership with the Stadtbibliothek. Members decide for themselves the extent of their active support.
