Since 1900, the members of the Friends of the Stadtbibliothek Bremen have supported us both intellectually and materially. Not least because of this voluntary commitment, we can now make over 500,000 media easily accessible and tangible for around 1.2 million visitors per year and offer books, information and events for young and old in our libraries.
The association's guiding principle is partnership-based cooperation with the Stadtbibliothek . The members themselves decide on the level of their active support.
