Workshop on inclusive gaming

Are there actually queer heroes in games? Or characters with disabilities? Fred Rössler, an expert in inclusive media work, will explore these and many other questions on the occasion of Diversity Day on May 29th .

The workshop is aimed at children and young people between the ages of 10 and 16 . But this afternoon it doesn't just stop at theory: What would characters look like if children and young people could develop them? After the discussion, there is plenty of time to design your own figures using the browser-based tool Piskel.

The workshop offers participants the opportunity to let their creativity run wild and implement their ideas about inclusive and diverse characters. They not only learn how to design their own characters, but also why representation in the media is so important.
