What is the Winter Reading Challenge?

The Winter Reading Challenge is pure inspiration! From 15 reading tasks, the "challenges," you choose one or more and complete them. All the tasks encourage you to engage with the book – in unusual ways.

How do I participate in the challenge?

Let us know which book you read for which challenge and what you thought of it by submitting your completed challenge card with a short review. Whether good or bad, every opinion counts and will be entered into the prize draw. The challenge entry boxes are located at the reception desk in the central library and in the branch libraries.

What should be taken into account?

All books and audiobooks available in the Stadtbibliothek are permitted.

Submission deadline?

The challenge runs from the beginning of November until the end of January and ends on January 31, 2021. Afterwards, the draw will take place and the winners will be notified in writing.

What is there to win?

Attractive prizes related to books and libraries will be raffled off. Among the great surprises for a successful winter of reading are two tolino eReaders, three library cards, and much more…
