Tips and tricks for more sustainability in everyday life

Be it food, electrical appliances or even furniture – far too much ends up in the trash every day. We would like to do something about it and, together with numerous cooperation partners, we invite you to two days of action in the central library on July 5th and 6th, from 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.  

At the information stands in our action area on the 2nd floor you can find out how waste is properly separated, how nonsensical best-before dates can be and what options there are for recycling and upcycling. There are also waste separation games for children and knowledge games for young and old. For example, the “Clean up your City” initiative has an information stand and organizes two garbage collection campaigns around the central library on the campaign days. The stand at the Bremen Component Exchange will focus on the reusability of components and the Bremen City Cleaning Department will provide information about sustainable waste management.
