Foundation Dr. Heines donates reading books

As in the past, the Dr. Heines once again supported the Stadtbibliothek Bremen with a generous donation this year.
On Wednesday, June 21, 2017, Dr. Heines, on behalf of the foundation, Stadtbibliothek seven reading book packages for all branches of the Stadtbibliothek Bremen to Ms. Werder, deputy director of the Stadtbibliothek Bremen , and Ms. Strechel, library education assistant at the Stadtbibliothek , in the Vahr City Library. Ms. Strechel gave an insight into a library educational concept that is intended to make children curious about the different books and thus showed how the donated books could be used in event work.
The selection of books is based on the recommendation list of the 2016 reading study by the Reading Foundation, the ZEIT and the Deutsche Bahn Foundation and is intended to support the holdings and the library educational offerings in the seven branches of the Stadtbibliothek Bremen . Library educational work and the promotion of children's reading and media skills is one of the central tasks of the Stadtbibliothek Bremen . Teaching children and their caregivers - parents, grandparents, educators - the fun and value of reading aloud is a fundamental part of the Stadtbibliothek .
The donation from the Dr. Foundation Heines supports the Stadtbibliothek in this area very well. We would therefore like to thank the Dr. Foundation for its financial commitment and great solidarity. Heines and the Stadtbibliothek Bremen would like to thank.
