learned their first letters or counting with them: Ernie and Bert, Elmo, the Cookie Monster, Count
Zahl & Co. from Sesame Street can rightly
be described as television legends.
The US children's series “Sesame Street” has also been shown on German television since January 1973.
Initially with synchronized episodes, before the framework story was later replaced by local characters and actors.
For the 50th anniversary, filmfriend is presenting a large collection of
hand puppets for endearing throwbacks and delightful discoveries: In addition to adventures
of Grobi and Supergrobi, there are, among other things, stories about the German
characters Wool and Horse as well as Sesame Street Classics with episodes from the 1970s,
1980s and 1990s - and the 2000s.
