»Selfies – Textile Self-Portraits«

Where and when: August 29th to September 14th / during the opening hours of the Stadtbibliothek Bremen – Vegesack

For a year, women from different countries and cultures will be working in the Old Town Hall in Blumenthal on the topic “Who am I? Who do I want to be?”. Under the artistic direction of Luisa Recker and Aurelia Maria Foti, each woman painstakingly designed her own self-portrait, peppered with symbols that express her own image, character, wishes and ideas.

The lecture takes place as part of the “Weeks of Action Together Against Exclusion and Discrimination” in the north of Bremen.
