New listening location opened in the central library

The Central Library is now part of the literary-musical audio walk LauschOrte . This unique project highlights sights and special places in Bremen and offers the opportunity to experience the city from new perspectives. At each listening station, visitors can pause for a few minutes, listen and discover Bremen's city center in a sensual and aesthetic way and at the same time learn interesting facts about the city's history.

At the opening in the central library, Bremen's mayor Andreas Bovenschulte encouraged the people of Bremen to take the time and explore their own city with the LauschOrten. The LauschOrte offer a nice opportunity to get to know your own city better and to become aware of what is hidden behind the places, said Bovenschulte in his speech.

There are now 17 LauschOrte in Bremen, the content of which can also be heard lauborte.de The LauschOrte are one of the lighthouse projects in Bremen's successful application for the title of UNESCO City of Literature and were implemented by the Bremer Literaturkontor and the chamber ensemble Konsonanz.
