New book recommendation app “Lesum”

An average of 80,000 new book titles are published in Germany every year. Only a fraction of these can be read. Since September, the Lesum app, developed in Bremen, has offered inspiration and guidance through the dense forest of new releases. Based on previously answered questions about personal reading preferences, the app suggests suitable titles. With continued use, the app constantly learns which books users are enthusiastic about. The Stadtbibliothek Bremen is cooperating with this project, and its holdings are integrated into the app, allowing users to see at a glance whether the recommended books are available at the library.
