Tents at Explore Science in Bürgerpark

Mathematics to participate in

What is rotational symmetry? And how are distances in space measured? Children and young people can get answers to these and many other questions at “Explore Science” in Bremen’s Bürgerpark August 31st to September 2nd . Numerous institutions here offer hands-on science.

What does the Stadtbibliothek offer?

With us, children and young people can experiment with geometric shapes and symmetries, help create a stop-motion film and do digital puzzles with the creative app TagTool. At many different stations, kindergartens, schools and families learn everything about mathematics.

What is “Explore Science” anyway?

Since 2018, the Klaus Tschira Foundation has been organizing the scientific adventure days “Explore Science” in the Bürgerpark. All kindergartens, schools and families from Bremen and the surrounding area are invited to discover everything about mathematics. The offering for kindergarten children, school classes and families ranges from an interactive exhibition to numerous hands-on activities, workshops and stage shows to experimental lectures and competitions.
