Free gardening project for families

The sleeves are rolled up in the garden of the Vegesack district library Employees of the branch have built raised beds there in the past few weeks, which are now to be planted. In cooperation with the Bremen Adult Education Center, the branch offers a garden project for families. The offer is aimed at families with children of primary school age from grade 3 up to the transition to secondary school and is free of charge . Under the guidance of a garden specialist, we will work together in the library garden. Families can also sponsor raised beds. There are no prerequisites for participation. However, anyone who already has experience in horticulture is welcome to bring this into the project.
