“Host Language” is back
“Host Language”, the literature festival for Bremen-Nord, is back. Readings by authors from the north of Bremen will take place throughout the spring throughout the north of Bremen. What's special about Host Language: The literature festival depends solely on the initiative and commitment of the authors involved. They organize the readings themselves.
This year, the opening is once again a showcase in which the audience receives brief insights into the work of several authors from Bremen-Nord. Under the motto “Finding and Inventing,” Anne Achner, Eva Hütter, Rega Kerner, Cornelia Knösel, Gerhard Koopmann, Fernande Kuhlmann-Kirchmeyer, Gabriele Stein, Christa Thiekötter, Jochen Windheuser and Heide Marie Voigt present short texts of their own and written specifically for this opening reading , which whets the appetite for the readings that follow.
The opening will take place on Friday, April 21st from 7 p.m. in the Stadtbibliothek Bremen . Admission is free.
