Game Factory: First workshop successfully completed

It was programmed, tinkered and tinkered with: the first of four workshops in our game factory was successfully completed. In the workshop series, which takes place as part of our 53° summer holiday program , children can work inventively and creatively with Makey Makey and get their first introduction to programming in a playful way. The board closes and opens circuits between a person and a conductive object. And so the workshops not only offer an educational unit about electrical circuits, but also impart skills in the areas of media, computer science and technical design. Teamwork and exercise are also not neglected. Together, the team members and children created a hula hoop with keys, which everyone played extensively, as well as a giant piano.

15 children took part in the three-day workshop. At the end, the participants proudly presented their results – and they were really impressive. During the workshop, among other things, a photo station, a donut alarm button, a projector and a robot whose individual body parts make music were created.

The continuation of the workshop series is already being planned.
