A room full of instruments

In the Central Library we are opening a room for musicians and those who want to become musicians! Would you like to make music? Then our MusicSpace in the Central Library is just right for you!

Regardless of whether you are a beginner or an experienced musician, solo or in a duet, MusicSpace offers various instruments such as electric piano, electric guitar and electric drums for making music and practicing. A computer with appropriate software is available for recording music.

Reservation & Use 

• Get in touch by phone or at musik@stabi-hb.de
• You need a valid BIB CARD
• Eating and drinking is not permitted in MusicSpace
• To save your own music projects, please bring an external storage device with you
• The MusicSpace is intended for your own creative activities. Use for private lessons or paid events is not permitted

• Mixer (Alesis MultiMix 8 USB FX)
• Audio interface (Behringer U-Phoria UM2)
• PC “HP Omen 880” with Windows 11 (for audio recording and editing)
• Software (Steinberg Cubase Element 11, Reaper Daw and Audacity)
• Projector (with laptop connection)
