Exploring digital worlds

How does programming work? And what exactly is artificial intelligence? Children and young people can find answers to these and many other questions at "Explore Science" in Bremen's Bürgerpark from September 8th to 10th. Numerous institutions will be offering hands-on science experiences. 

What does the Stadtbibliothekoffer?

At our booth, we'll take our visitors on a jungle adventure. Our mini-robots, "Ozobots," will guide them through a jungle obstacle course. Only those who use the correct codes can overcome the various obstacles and pitfalls. The second station offers a creative experience: using a projector and the TagTool app, visitors can transform a gray-brown cardboard backdrop into a vibrant green light show. 
We'll also be providing information about our free, year-round activities for children and teenagers. 

What exactly is "Explore Science"? 

Since 2018, the Klaus Tschira Foundation has been organizing the "Explore Science" science days in Bürgerpark. All kindergartens, schools, and families from Bremen and the surrounding area are invited to discover everything related to the topic of "Digital Worlds." The program for kindergarten children, school classes, and families ranges from an interactive exhibition and numerous hands-on activities, workshops, and stage shows to experimental lectures and competitions.
