Ozobots on a puzzle track.

Explore digital worlds

How does programming work? And what exactly is artificial intelligence? Children and young people can find out answers to these and many other questions at “Explore Science” in Bremen’s Bürgerpark from September 8th to 10th. Numerous institutions here offer hands-on science.

What does the Stadtbibliothek offer?

At our stand we accompany our visitors on a jungle adventure.
Our mini robots “Ozobots” take you through a jungle course. Only those who use the right codes can overcome the various obstacles and pitfalls. Things get creative at the second station: Using a projector and the TagTool app, our visitors can transform a gray-brown cardboard backdrop into a green light show animation. We also provide information about our free participation activities for children and young people, which we offer all year round.

What is “Explore Science” anyway?

Since 2018, the Klaus Tschira Foundation has been organizing the scientific adventure days “Explore Science” in the Bürgerpark. All kindergartens, schools and families from Bremen and the surrounding area are invited to discover everything about the topic of “Digital Worlds”. The offering for kindergarten children, school classes and families ranges from an interactive exhibition to numerous hands-on activities, workshops and stage shows to experimental lectures and competitions.

Explore Science 2022, 8-10 September, opening hours: daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can find us at stand 4 at the Marcusbrunnen in Bürgerpark.
