The chickens are loose...
The library garden in Vegesack is becoming more and more lively. Many visitors enjoy hanging out there, bees moved in in July and now the chickens are on the loose. You can visit the animals during our opening hours until September 23rd and feed them salad and herbs.
We have a suitable program ready for children during this time: our picture book cinema becomes a chicken book cinema. Every Tuesday from 4 p.m. a different chicken story is told. Afterwards, the chicken lovers go to the library garden to pet and feed the chickens.
