CodeWeek Bremen: tinkering, hacking, programming

Boring autumn? Not with us, because CodeWeek is taking place in Bremen for the first time - and we're there! But what is that anyway? CodeWeek Bremen invites children, young people and anyone interested to discover their enthusiasm for tinkering, hacking and programming. In exciting workshops and hands-on events, they have the chance to look behind the scenes of the digital world and try out how to use hardware and software creatively.

We offer a total of 12 workshops and hands-on activities for all tinkering enthusiasts aged 3 and over. We show how to teach robots to walk, how figures and drawings can be brought to life digitally or how to control game heroes in a video game using everyday materials. The little ones can try out how to use the learning robots Bee-Bots and Ozobots and build our bus library in Minecraft using digital building blocks. There are also taster workshops for adults: a family day on the subject of robotics and a workshop on the subject of photo manipulation.

And if you can't find what you're looking for in our program, you have the opportunity to choose from many other offers at CodeWeek Bremen.

CodeWeek Bremen will take place for the first time from October 9th to 24th. The EU CodeWeek was launched in 2013 - since then the movement has been supported by volunteers. It is supported by the European Commission and in Germany by a team of volunteer ambassadors (CodeWeek Germany).
