Many colorful hands scattered around the world.

A colorful morning for Children's Rights Day

November 20th is International Children's Rights Day. To mark the occasion, the Bremen Child Protection Association, with its project and children's rights office, will be out and about in Bremen's north, offering a diverse program at our library in Vegesack . Stories about children's rights will be read aloud. Children and their families can also create handprints or paint using finger paints.

The stories will be read at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m.

World Children's Day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: in 1989, 191 states signed the agreement, which outlines the rights of children and young people.
