Colorful morning for Children's Rights Day

November 20th is International Children's Rights Day. For this occasion, the Bremen Child Protection Association is traveling with its project and children's rights office in the north of Bremen and is offering a colorful program in our library in Vegesack . Stories that deal with the topic of children's rights are read out loud. Children and their families can also use finger paints to make or paint handprints.

The stories will be read from 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Children's Rights Day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: in 1989, 191 states signed the agreement. This summarizes the rights of children and young people.
