Nationwide reading day in the central library

On Friday, November 16th, the nationwide reading day took place for the 15th time. We were also there for the twelfth time and for this occasion we invited Thomas Fürst (board member of Sparkasse Bremen) to read an exciting crime story about the LasseMaja detective agency to an invited school class in the children's library.

After the welcome from Ms. Ninja Kaupa, children's target group representative, the students from the school on Buntentorsteinweg followed the story about counterfeit money with interest. They then asked interested personal and technical questions about bank robberies, “silent alarms”, ATMs and much more to Mr. Fürst, who answered every single question with great enthusiasm.

Given the readers' enjoyment of reading and the children's enjoyment of listening, which was also evident in the children's library, it is not surprising to what extent participation in the National Reading Day has increased in recent years. At the same time, this makes you look forward to next year!
