Citizen information service opened in the West district library

Last Friday, Mayor Karoline Linnert opened the new Citizen Information Service (BIS) in the foyer of the West District Library. Citizens can get advice or make appointments with offices at a counter specially set up for this purpose in the foyer of the district library.

“We fit together very well, it’s a promising partnership,” says Lucia Werder, deputy director of the Stadtbibliothek Bremen . “Our tasks as a library include cultural education, participation, integration and free access to information. With the citizen information service, we round off our portfolio even further.”

The BIS can be reached on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
