Buddy Reading – Read a book together!
A new offer in the central library and in Vegesack is intended to bring people closer together. If you enjoy literature and want to exchange ideas with others, Buddy Reading is the right place for you.
What is Buddy Reading?
Buddy reading roughly means: reading together with a “buddy”. We have placed a new shelf in the novel department of the Central Library especially for this offer, where you will find both literature suggestions and our buddy postcards. In Vegesack you will find this next to the entrance. Fill this out and hang it on our bulletin board. With a little luck and patience, the buddy and the book/topic will find each other as if by themselves. Or you can browse through the cards that are already hanging and contact a person on your own.
When and where do you meet?
Depending on your mood, once a week, twice a month, every third Tuesday, ... The meetings can be in the library, in the café, in the Wall facilities. How and where is up to you to decide individually.
