"Discovered on travels"

International editions of the Bremen Town Musicians from the private collection of Hans Koschnick 

In memory of Bremen's former mayor Hans Koschnick (1929-2016), two display cases in the Central Library contain international editions of the Bremen Town Musicians. Hans Koschnick received the fairy tales as gifts during his many official trips around the world and donated them to the Stadtbibliothek 10 years ago. The collection, comprising over 30 works (not available for loan), includes numerous German editions as well as editions in Italian, French, Welsh, Finnish, and Japanese.
