Robo-vacation
Description
A robot that protects endangered species? Or one that collects sand samples from the deep seabed? Could a robot be your best friend? And what would such a robot actually look like – what would it need to be able to do?
For four days, you can try out whatever you enjoy: drawing robots, programming them, plotting stickers, modeling 3D figures, or building your own virtual reality experiences that we can explore with VR headsets. It's about humans and robots, but not just about technology. It's about your ideas, your images, and your vision of the future.
What you create, you can take home with you. And perhaps some of it will later appear in the Robozine: a booklet designed by eighth-grade students and Stadtbibliothek presented at the Gröpelingen
This holiday program is part of the workshop series "Robozine: Between Fantasy and Future" with the partner institutions Gesamtschule West, FabLab, and Stadtbibliothek Bremen.
The workshop will take place from October 12th to 15th, 2026. Registration is required for all four days .
The workshop is suitable for young people aged 12 to 16.
A project by “Gemeinsam Digital! Kreativ mit Medien” of the German Library Association (dbv) within the framework of “Kultur macht stark” of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
