»A living will is not enough – take proper precautions«

Description

In order to give as many people as possible the opportunity to find out more, the Huchting service center is offering a lecture on the subject of guardianship law: The Bremen lawyer and specialist in family and inheritance law Torsten Bruns is a notary in Huchting and in his lecture gives an overview of the legal requirements The framework of legal support for adults, introduces the authorities involved and shows alternatives to legal support. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

The Huchting service center would like to respond to the interest of many citizens as part of a series of lectures and address legal issues. Many questions about the areas of guardianship law, health care powers of attorney and living wills are raised at the Huchting service center, a PARITÄTISCHE advice center: What should I consider when I commission others? Even if you already have a living will, you should consider additional powers of attorney in case of an emergency. To ensure that my will is followed in all areas of life, I have to take precautions in the event that I am no longer able to represent my interests. Equally important is the question of what friends and relatives who care for someone and have the power of attorney need to consider. What decisions are they allowed to make and to whom do they have to answer?
