JelGi: Everyone learns guitar

Description

From 10 am to 12 pm:
Basics for adults and children with a companion – Popular songs with one chord can be accompanied by children and adults on guitars or ukuleles with capos, Orff instruments, and Boomwhackers. For songs with two or three chords, the chords are divided among several guitars with capos. Kamishibai picture cards and mini-musicals are also included.

From 12 pm to 3 pm:
Advanced training for adults and educators – In the JelGi course, you will learn in just a few hours how to easily accompany children's songs, popular tunes, and other songs, even without prior knowledge. The guitar or ukulele strings are tuned to C major, so you only need to learn one chord with your left hand. There are many strumming techniques for the right hand.

Please bring a guitar and a footstool approximately 20 cm high, and if possible, a music stand.

The non-profit organization JelGi – Everyone learns guitar” organizes the JelGi courses on a voluntary basis.

For guitar or ukulele: Ukulele players (also standard tuning) are welcome
