Honey experience with Markus Roose in the library garden
Description
This year, beekeeper Markus Roose (Roose Apiary from Zeven) is once again hosting five Saturday mornings dedicated to the topic of honey. Visitors can experience firsthand how much honey the bees have collected in Vegesack and how fresh it tastes.
Markus Roose will be removing honeycomb frames from the beehives and extracting the honey. The help of strong children and adults is welcome. The freshly extracted honey can, of course, be sampled on site. Honey and honey candies are also available for purchase year-round at the Vegesack Stadtbibliothek .
For families, children aged 6 and up, and anyone interested. Participation is free and no registration is required.
