Green Saturday at the Vegesack Library
Description
10:15 a.m.: "Green Picture Book Cinema" – At our Picture Book Cinema, picture books are projected large onto the wall, allowing all viewers, young and old, to experience the colorful illustrations up close. We'll read you an exciting story that shows how important it is to protect our environment. (For children ages 4 and up)
11 a.m.: "Family Cleanup with CleanUpYourCity eV" – Together we'll walk through our neighborhood and rid it of litter. You'll learn in a fun and engaging way how important it is to protect our environment. And the best part: It's great fun to do something good together with friends and family! Come along, lend a hand, and show that even small hands can make a big difference. Together we'll make our neighborhood a more beautiful place! Litter collection equipment will be provided. The cleanup starts and ends at the library. In cooperation with CleanUpYourCity eV.
From 11 a.m.: "Games, Fun & Picnic with Foodsharing" – An event where enjoyment and learning go hand in hand! The food rescuers from Foodsharing will bring rescued food such as cakes and fruit to the picnic. There will also be fun activities to participate in. Please bring your own picnic dishes or containers. In cooperation with Foodsharing Bremen North.
From 12 pm: "Happiness in a Jar" – Together we'll layer and chop up delicious snacks to fill a jar. Jars will be provided on site and can then be taken home filled with tasty treats. In cooperation with Foodsharing Bremen North.
