Photography exhibition by Muhlis Kenter: “People are coming” – Writing workshop
Description
In the writing workshop, which runs parallel to the exhibition, participants, after a guided tour of the exhibition and a brief introduction to creative writing techniques, select a photograph and write texts that reflect their associations with the chosen image. What do the pictures do to me? How do they affect me? What stories do I connect with the photos? What does the theme have to do with the current situation? Based on these and other questions, stories, poems, and associative images on the theme "People are Coming" emerge from a contemporary perspective, providing an expanded framework for the photographs, replacing the usual exhibition texts.
The stories are integrated into the exhibition immediately after the writing workshop and made accessible to other visitors. The interplay of the texts and photographs creates a lively dialogue between the photographs and the visitors, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and emotions.
