"The Chocolate Ride" – By cargo bike for fair trade chocolate

The cyclists of SCHOKOFAHRT, a private, climate-friendly initiative that promotes sustainable transport and conscious consumption, are guests at the Vegesack library.
Twice a year, they set off with their cargo bikes to Amsterdam to pick up chocolate from a sailing ship. They transport the sweet cargo overland to Bremen, producing absolutely no CO₂ emissions – and experience exciting stories, encounters, and challenges along the way.
