Dementia – Understanding, Accompanying, Supporting

In cooperation with DIKS and the Huchting Service Center, the library invites you to an informative lecture on dementia.
What does a dementia diagnosis mean for those affected and their families? How does daily life change – and what support options are available?
The speakers from DIKS will provide an accessible overview of different forms of dementia, early warning signs, how to cope with challenging situations, and regional support and counseling services.
The event is aimed at anyone interested, family members, and anyone who would like to learn more about dementia. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the topic further.
