»cross over« – finissage with artist discussion
Description
The exhibition by the well-known Bremen artist Edeltraut Rath and the young Turkish artist Elfin Açar is part of the anniversary of the Bremen Artists' Association / GEDOK. Both artists share a love of color and form, nature and a great interest in the other artist's works of art. The aspects of networking, the dialogue between cultures and the collaboration between young and older artists as well as the joint dialogue are topics that fit perfectly into the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the GEDOK.
The welcome speech will be given by Guntram Schwotzer ( Stadtbibliothek ), the introduction will be given by Gisela Schwarz (GEDOK Association of Friends of Artists) and the Bremen art historian Dr. Katerina Vatsella.
The exhibition will from October 2nd to November 30th, 2024 in the Wall Hall of the Central Library.
