"Bremen reads: Johanna Lindemann "Picked up!""

Description

The Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra will once again present their popular "Music Meets Literature" at the major Bremen literary event "Bremen Reads" —this time together with Bremen author Johanna Lindemann , who will read from her book "Abgeholt!" (Picked Up!). The story is about Ben, who is always the last one picked up from kindergarten. But then Ben invents one fantastic story after another about why his father can't pick him up yet, so none of the other children want to go home. Together with the author, the unusual duo of double bass (Hiroyuki Yamazaki) and bassoon (Berker Šen) the book to life with music. And as a bonus, you'll also have the opportunity to experience these orchestral instruments, which are often unfamiliar to many, up close and learn some interesting details.
