Opening of the exhibition “Please join in!”
Description
Acrylic paintings by intercultural amateur painters – 14 amateur painters from diverse backgrounds meet regularly to explore their talents. The group includes both experienced painters and beginners. They work under the guidance of Zeynep Sümer as part of a WiN (Living in Neighborhoods) project.
Through creative work and exhibitions, the participants aim to connect with others and foster mutual understanding and coexistence. With the goal of encouraging others to build relationships, they share their life experiences and migration stories, making them visible.
An exhibition by the Center for Migrant and Intercultural Studies (ZIS) (until June 30). The exhibition can be visited during the opening hours of the Gröpelingen Stadtbibliothek .
