Autism at Work – Live Podcast for World Autism Awareness Day
Description
“For me, autism means that I miss what others notice. And I notice what others miss.” This insightful statement comes from Florian Malicke. He is an expert on autism in two senses: He earns his living as an autism coach – and at the same time lives with this diagnosis himself. His core topic as a coach – autism in the workplace – will be the focus of a special event organized by the Martinsclub Bremen e. V., the Stadtbibliothek Bremen , and Autismus Bremen e. V. on World Autism Awareness Day. The panel discussion, moderated by Mirjam Rosentreter and Marco Tiede, will be recorded live for the Martinsclub podcast “Spectracular – Parents Explore Autism.”
Admission is free and no registration is required. However, seating at the venue is limited.
The interview with Florian Malicke will be available as a podcast from April 28th at www.spektrakulaer.de
Since December 2023, the Martinsclub Bremen e. V. has been running the podcast "Spectacled – Parents Explore Autism." The podcast is hosted by journalist Mirjam Rosentreter and autism therapist Marco Tiede, both parents of autistic children. It originated from a discussion group at the Martinsclub where parents of autistic children can exchange information on parenting and family issues related to autism.
“Spectacular” is supported by Aktion Mensch, the Heidehof Foundation and the Waldemar Koch Foundation.
