Tips and tricks for more sustainability in everyday life

Whether it's food, electrical appliances, or even furniture – far too much ends up in the trash every day. We want to do something about it and, together with numerous cooperation partners, invite you to two action days at the Central Library on July 5th and 6th, from 3 pm to 6 pm each day. 

At information booths on our activity area on the 2nd floor, you can learn how to properly separate waste, how pointless best-before dates can be, and what recycling and upcycling options are available. There will also be waste separation games for children and educational games for all ages. For example, the "Clean up your City" initiative will have an information booth and will be organizing two litter collection events around the central library during the event. The Bremen Building Materials Exchange booth will focus on the reusability of building components, and Bremen's municipal waste management department will be providing information on sustainable waste management. 

To get in the mood, we will be holding our popular clothing swap party “Swap Frenzy” again on July 2nd .
