New digital language learning offer

The Stadtbibliothek Bremen is expanding its digital offerings: With Transparent Language Online, one of the most comprehensive platforms for language learning is now available to you – and it is the first library in Germany to offer this.

With over 140 languages, from beginner to advanced levels, you can systematically build your vocabulary and train and solidify your listening, reading, and writing skills. The platform caters to diverse needs, whether for school and university, professional purposes, or learning German as a foreign language.
In addition to traditional language courses, specially designed learning resources are also available for German learners with various native languages. This allows the platform to support both individual learning and linguistic integration.

Language learning for children with KidSpeak

With KidSpeak, the platform offers a dedicated learning program for children from around six years old. They playfully discover their first words and simple sentences in various languages. Animations, games, and songs convey the content directly and clearly.

The content can be accessed offline at any time via browser or app, for example while commuting or at home. This allows you to easily integrate learning into your daily routine.
