A new program at the central library offers teachers and group leaders the opportunity to learn about the Change Writers method . Reserve your appointment now. 

Regardless of the composition of your class or group, Change Writers methods open new avenues for successful relationship building. The exercises foster trust, empowering and motivating young people and adults to take responsibility for their lives.

How does the Change Writers method work?
It consists of easily implemented exercises that facilitate building relationships – even with people who are otherwise not very approachable. One key element is the 
diary method, alongside many other exercises.

Where does the Change Writing method come from?
The story of the American student group Freedom Writers deeply moves us as well: 150 at-risk and educationally disadvantaged young people from the ghettos of Los Angeles write their life stories, thereby gaining new opportunities and achieving their school leaving certificates. 

The 2007 Hollywood film Freedom Writers shows how the method works as a door opener and how it built relationships with young people who had previously refused any cooperation.
