Children's Literature Festival Galaxy of Books

The Bremen Literature Office and the Bremen Literature House are hosting "The Galaxy of Books" from November 23rd to 24th – a reading festival for children aged 2 to 10. The first day of the festival will take place at the Central Library. Exciting children's book authors will be there, including Maurice Baiers, also known as Big Moe, famous for his funny children's book rap songs. Also appearing on November 23rd are Johanna Lindemann, Andrea Stegmaier, and Hendrik Lambertus. Children can get creative themselves in a drawing and comics workshop with Jeff Hemmer. We're also launching a digital drawing session with TagTool, and the popular Rumpelwichte puppet theater will be there.

The second day of the festival also has plenty to offer. The journey through the galaxy leads to Kukoon , where the diversity-conscious picture book project eene-meene-kiste sets poems to music. Dayan Kodua reads from "Odo," and Jörg Isermeyer presents "Badger and Rocket." Illustrator Ayşe Klinge gives a reading and workshop on her comic "The Tooth." Anna Jäger and Florian Bosum read from their collaborative book "What Does Paul See?"
